Mr Jag is a three-piece band from Northern Ireland playing folk-tinged pop and rock. Their sound is uncluttered and uncomplicated allowing an honest lyric style to shine though. A good of example of this is "Song For A Friend" which although livelier than other tracks on the album, demonstrates a reality of emotion and concern towards a friend and where their life is heading. The opener, "The Likes Of Me", is a gentler offering illustrating a lyric of humble adoration of God. 'Time Captured Thoughts' shows a lot of promise though it has to be said that the sax player heard here is pretty limited.

id like to tell you that the 'limited sax player' has a ddiploma.....limited??!!! take that back!!! ;( (see...you made me cry ;( ) but ye,mr jag rock xxx

How they can say the sax player is limited is beyond me. Live, it is a chef-d'oeuvre of saxophone playing and I believe that the album showcases a healthy moiety of this forte.

that is a shocking review. its ridiculously short. i mean does the guy reviewing play sax.?? yeah im not sure what the banter is with this. but as soon as i read it it just annoyed me, concerns me this kind of poor attitude towards promoting for a change good Christian music.

i dont understand why crossrhythms can only write a paragraph about an album. i mean i only listened to two songs of mr jag literally there now and i could probably write about six paragraphs about what i heard.

these are made merely as a concered observor

Mr Jag is one of N.Irelands finest Christain bands! they appeal to both young and old and basically play fun music with a special meaning! Could we not have a more detailed review on this band seems very short?
