Robert Mouton, a self-taught pianist from Michigan, has produced a neo-classical album of piano solos. To anyone who doesn't regularly listen to classical music, this is a relaxing work of background music, perhaps something you might expect to hear underneath a poetry reading. To all other intents and purposes, this is a demo. To clarify; the packaging itself is unfinished and the recordings need a lot more work. There are moments of beauty and emotion throughout the album, and Mouton can clearly play the piano adequately, but it doesn't contain any particularly striking tracks. They all seem to evaporate from your memory as quickly as the music fades in the air.
