Here's a second album from Monty G as he steps up a gear to create a blend of reggae and dancehall influences into his own unique sound. This is perfect summertime music with plenty of good roots vibes and a strong uncompromising gospel message. With passionate vocals, sweet girlie harmonies and memorable impacting songs, Monty G is establishing himself as a gospel artist to be reckoned with. Favourites include the gritty "Live For Christ" and the furious upbeat synth-driven "Big Time Sell Out". Otherwise the ska sounds of "Whose Name" are infectious and the sober closing title track finishes things off in understated fashion. Monty G is emerging as a strong artist and this release is to be respected.
