The first big time mainstream single from production maestros Kevin Edwards, Paul Birtles and former lead singer with Divine, Tracey Riggan, this is real in-yer-face gospel dance music. Previous singles from the group have appeared on associate band member Piers Sanderson's Urban Grooves label and under various guises on last year's 'Cross Rhythms' dance compilation but since then Perfecto (one of the most respected dance labels in the country) have snapped them up for a three single deal and this is the long awaited debut with remixes from the likes of Quivver and Space Kittens. The tone of the song is extremely uplifting and manages to retain a strong sense of gospel truth, even after being broken down and remixed further for the club scene. I guess that those who find club music irritating aren't going to be utterly convinced by the whole thing, but the radio mix (on CD) is well worth hearing. The rest of us are going to want to head for "Quiwers Vocal Mix", which has been going down well in clubs for several months now. A truly successful introduction to a group with a bright future ahead of them.
