In some ways one knows exactly what to expect from MercyMe, skilled musicianship, solid production and the powerful heartfelt vocals of Bart Millard but this hard to get hold of collection previously sold only at Family Christian Stores locations in the US and on concert tours is still a worthwhile addition to the MercyMe catalogue. This is a collection of worship songs, with a few hymns thrown in for good measure. The album doesn't have any great surprises but offers serviceable versions of popular worship songs like the bluesy ZZ Top-inspired version of "My Glorious" and an anthemic rock rendition of "Mighty To Save" while the hymn "Come Thou Fount" starts with a warm and simple synth and acoustic-based arrangement before soaring to an uplifting close.
