This seems to be a chorale assembled specifically for this project, at a guess maybe about 30-strong. The tape offers 20 tracks of mainly standard gospel songs of the kind which never seem to fade away in the States. Some of the tracks have a galloping, full-blown Hollywood soundtrack orchestral backing which results in a bit of a scramble for places. Tracks which avoid this, such as "He Hideth My Soul", work best, but then I personally prefer choral music sung acappella anyway. A good collection, evidencing rich expertise, and the unparralled beauty of the human voice.
