Martin Posnett is a professional actor, singer/songwriter and guitarist who is also a Christian. After releasing two albums which were totally Christian music, he's designed 'Bridges' to back up what he's described as reaching without preaching, trying to connect with folk that wouldn't darken the door of a church, and help them to take their first steps towards faith. Martin realised from his own experience that such people would shy away from a song list of gospel material, so this CD features inspirational songs by Lennon & McCartney, Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil, and Rodgers & Hammerstein, along with a quartet of Martin's own compositions, and the whole thing is well produced and well executed. The concept as a touring stage show has already borne fruit, and Martin's initiative deserves support. Buy this and give it to a not-yet-saved friend or relative.
