Glasmire's seven-song EP is a gentle and pleasurable affair. Each song is carefully and skilfully crafted so it doesn't come as much of a surprise to learn that Glasmire has won numerous songwriting accolades over the years. Not only does the songsmith have a way with words but his command of the guitar is clearly evident, most notably on "She's Got It All", a track that sounds like a cross between The Beatles' "Day Tripper" and "Love Me Do". It's just as wonderful as both too. Opener "Last Of A Dying Breed" is a punchy, melodic tune that has a distinct mainstream sound to it. "I Like You" has a distinct tropical feel and has the capability of transporting the listener back into the '70s. It's virtually impossible to pick a standout track as each one has its own unique and enjoyable traits. Glasmire's beautiful timbre varies from relaxing to spine-tingling and is faultless throughout. It is rare to find a project where each and every track hits the spot. But this one does.
