'Exodus' is a musical written by Margaret, and this CD comes complete with backing tracks, with music scores available for those who want to put on a production for themselves, and profits from sales go (appropriately) to charities which assist Jewish people to emigrate back to Israel. Recorded and engineered by Dave Bankhead at Moonstone Studios in Malmesbury, with Maurice and Wendy Ritchie helping out with the solos, the CD is a good learning tool for DIY productions, and the music is well within the range and scope of most churches and youth groups. The ensemble vocals are a little ragged here and there, but Wendy and Maurice's solos are strong, and the backing tracks are excellent. More value as a resource than a performance, but worth investigating for that church anniversary or special event.
