Maranatha! Music have been producing worship albums since the early '70s and despite the many different projects now competing for space in the category today, they are still releasing many CDs though the big sales of old seem to have gone. This album is a collection of tracks exploring God's power and might and if you like your worship music performed with a maximum of middle of the road production polish this will not disappoint. Opening with "How Great Is Our God" and closing with "Rock Of Ages" you know what you are getting. There is not a bad song here, but to these ears "Awesome God" (the Rich Mullins song) and "The Power Of Your Love" (written by Geoff Bullock) with its gentle driving rock backing are the outstanding ones though neither reach the heights of the original recordings.
