There is clearly talent on display with this ambitious debut. I.D.M. and J-Deep rap with raw energy, while Rozz delivers beautiful feminine vocals. Although the message is solid, birthed out of the mission project, Betel Of Britain, in Birmingham, the music never quite hits the mark. The beats often sound low quality, with not much creativity in diversity between tracks. There are many promising moments and the combination of the two rappers with the softer soulful harmonies works really well. The only track I would be happy playing is "Beauty." containing the strong message about being comfortable with the way God made you. The tunes that work here are those with tight bass lines and subtle rapping. Madd Prophetz do deliver this but are not consistent. They need to mature with their sound before they'll appeal to a wider hip-hop crowd.
