The latest offering from R.G. leaves you in no doubt that he's one M.C. who's not going to magnate in the swamp of played-out, self-indulgent poets. He goes from strength to strength - helped here by some pretty slick production by Tim Miner. Check out track five "He's In The Bible" for some hot backing vocals - arranged by a guy with the unlikely name of Charles McCampbell! It's a song with 5 great hook and uncompromising lyrics and if you like pop rap you'll like "Child Of The King" too. R.G.'s vocals don't have the aggression that most secular rappers put into their stuff which was a plus for me - but I kept wanting a little more grit from his relatively light vocal - but this guy is going-to be around for a while and I'm sure he'll only get better.
