Missouri-based Lynda has, of course, found a niche for her trad gospel music thanks to Gaither's Southern gospel franchise Homecoming Friends. This latest project comprises of a number of beautiful tracks. "Who? Jesus" is definitely one of the most memorable songs with Lynda's trademark vocals bringing passion and power to the lyrics. Her singing is also exceptional on the track "I Don't Know Why". On most tracks there is limited instrumentation but Lynda's strong voice is enough to suffice. One of the upbeat tracks is "He's Already Climbed That Mountain" featuring Marshall Hall. The two divas sing with so much conviction you find yourself ready to conquer any number of peaks. Lynda performs her own version of the Helen Baylor song "If It Had Not Been" and it's a great effort but to match Helen's rendition is a tall order. Hardly groundbreaking but 'I'm Free' will please Lynda's niche followers.
