A very fine debut album from the lady with the unusual name and with the looks of Raquel Welch. Though I have classified this under country, it is really more new country/rock. A cross between the Judds and Garth Brooks. Once I was able to take myself away from looking at the cover I found this lady had a voice to go with her looks. This is proved by listening to "That's When Love Is True", which she duets with Morgan Cryar (who also co-wrote some of the songs as well as produced the CD). This sounds like something you would find in a Disney film...the slush song however still very powerful. "Perfect Woman" again very powerful and rocky. Bette Midler would have a hit if she recorded "Trust In Me". In saying this, so would Lori Loza if Benson consider to release this as a single which knowing the Americans there is a chance. Again very impressive though some tracks sound the same. Unusual name which should be around for a long time.
