This collection of 10 tracks, delivering 45 minutes of piano-led, classically sung worship music, marks a strong debut album for this Catholic singer/songwriter from Perth, Australia. There is nothing predictable, trite or well-worn about the material and, apart from a few slightly lumpy vocal edits, the production is clean and crisp, with Howard's delightful soprano voice well supported by tasteful and appropriate piano and string parts and the occasional backing vocal. The song Howard was selected to sing at the 2008 World Youth Festival at Darling Harbour, Sydney, "Veni Deus Et Ama Me" ("God Come And Love Me"), is one of the strongest in the collection, as is her setting of John Rutter's "The Lord Bless You And Keep You". This is excellent material that easily provokes a meditational mood.
