Herein lies an album of contrasts. Not so much musically as most of the tunes are of the old fashioned country variety with lashings of pedal steel and fiddle playing that will transport you to Cactus County before you can say "Quick Draw Magraw"! But glance through the lyric sheet and you will find that many of the songs are about contrasting opinions. On "Walls", "Gentle Whisper" and the title track the options are God's way or our own. Then there's "Leave Your Bags At The Door" which compares bondage to freedom. "I Wanna Thank You" carries on the theme but includes a delightful case of mixed metaphors. No sooner has Lisa informed us that she's "Running Wild" she then tells us that all the while she's been in chains! It's all rather pleasant and easy on the brain but though it's not the best product to come our way from the Brothers Elephante, I have a feeling that it will keep plenty of toe tapping country fans happy. And that can't be bad.
