Well known among the Plymouth church circuit Dave And Linda are an above average pop gospel twosome. Now Linda Edwards offers an attractive set of praise and worship songs and hymns, Dave Wellington still providing the synths and sequencing. On the plus side Linda has an outstanding voice which on some of the hymns particularly brings out the full transcendent beauty of the material (catch her goose-bump inducing version of "Abide With Me"). But the limitations of the arrangements and a certain sameness in tempo and key work against 'On Eagle's Wings' so that despite all the singing talent on offer this is unlikely to be a tape heard outside Devon fellowships.
