This is the third album from the worship team of Lifepoint Church which is based out of Fredricksburg, Virginia. The third song on this live album, the rousing "Revival", asks for an awakening of our souls so God's kingdom can come and life can be brought forth. The simply-titled "Jesus" has a really prayerful feel to it, thanking God for his Son while "Through It All" focuses on how God is there wherever we are in life and even in times of confusion we can call on him to bring comfort and peace. One particular standout "Better Than A Thousand" based on Psalm 84 which features an excellent female vocal. The album finishes with "I Surrender", another prayerful track which acknowledges what God has done for us and proclaims there is no one like him who is worthy not only of our praise but also our lives. With so many large churches now releasing worship projects one needs a truly outstanding song to give it any chance of getting heard outside the church's sphere of influence. Unfortunately, despite all the musical competence demonstrated here, this set fails to deliver one.
