I can find very little out about this album except that the Lenom Brothers (none of whom actually appear to be called Lenom) are from Jamaica. An odd musical hybrid which blends traditional Southern gospel and country with the added twist of Jamaican accents combined at times with a Southern twang. To these ears unaccustomed to such esoteric delights I found the resulting cultural collision most bizarre. I'm guessing that most of these songs are traditional, but since there are no credits, guessing is all I can do. There has long been a middle aged Jamaican following for country-style gospel so presumably Jet Star will be able to shift a few copies, but this is still a strange musical concoction.
