Whilst there is no doubting that God is active in Leah's life and she is a passionate Christian, I am left with a few doubts listening to this album. With a fresher, more professional production giving this a poppy, more dancey sound, there are improvements from her first album but after listening to the whole album, you'll realise that most of the songs are at a similar pace and there is little variation across the album. When reviewing her debut project some time ago I pointed out that Leah's voice veers towards being flat and unfortunately this is still true so the combination of voice and production don't always sit well. From a songwriting perspective, a lot of these songs wander around without ever finding a catchy hook and so the results are less than memorable. I feel a little like a school teacher with an end of term report writing "Leah has made some progress this year but still needs to work on her vocals and she definitely needs to invest some time in search of catchy choruses to brighten future songs."
