As this album had previously been featured and reviewed in Metal Direct I was expecting to hear a melodic rock band and so was fooled by the first fifteen seconds of rhythm guitar. The album settles down into a rather bland musical style which lacks any real imagination and sparkle. The vocals are frequently too high pitched, painfully so in "All Your Heart", and swamped with saccharine harmonies. On the inlay, the lyrics of each song are preceded by numerous Bible references but all too frequently the songs seem to express a rather trite and simplistic faith. While "Lead Me Away" reveals some thought, the embarrassing "Jesus Street" includes the chorus "Doo ditti doo ditti doo, Doo ditti do me you, on Jesus Street, We walk on the road of truth". While the first and last tracks on side one have memorable choruses the songs tend to wash over the listener leaving little impression.
