Originating from San Clemente, California both Glen Lystne and Marty Dieckmeyer make up the band Larry, and with this, their first album, they have managed to come up with a well crafted and eclectic mix of tracks, perhaps inspired by the surrounding they live in, the town being described as "The Spanish village by the sea". It's very hard to distinguish a musical style here as we are treated to some bluesy slide guitar riffs and then some softer acoustic melodies. "When You Coming Home" is very reminiscent of the band Counting Crows. Here we have a well executed album, which should appeal to country rock lovers. But there's little here that stands out from the pack.
