This is probably the best trance album I have ever heard coming from within the Christian music scene. The producer is 21 year-old DJ Tommy Klöpfer from Germany and his style is comparable to Paul Van Dyk and BT. This album does not break any new ground content wise, but it provides a valid Christian alternative for those interested in this genre. All nine tracks on this CD will fit right in with all that is currently played by trance DJs. Where there are vocals, they are pure, clear and beautiful. Where there are melodies, they are tuneful. Where there are atmospheres, they are emotive and captivating. Where there are rhythms, they are driving and energetic. Where there are lyrics, they are inspirational, but probably not “evangelistic” enough to convert anyone. This CD was released over a year ago now, but thankfully has not dated so much as some other turn-of-the-century styles. The more I listen, the more I dig it!
