This album has been eight years in the making for Texas-born gospel singer/songwriter Linda Pierce (aka L.P.) and has been helped along the way by her son Corey Stewart who runs New Breed Entertainment. Every song has been written or co-written by L.P. and she has also co-produced six of the 13 tracks. This input has meant that the album has a consistent message and style all the way through. The songs are in an R&B/gospel style and have good clear production and are sensitively arranged. Unfortunately some songs are rather dull and although L.P.'s lyrics and vocals lift the song there's a feeling that something is missing. Album highlights are opening track "His Way Or No Way", the funky "Taking Each Day At A Time" and the sonically impressive "Hallelujah". But overall, this is only a slightly above average set.
