The back catalogue for this popular American rock outfit has received its fair share of accolades and provides a rich pool of material to draw on. Having their roots as a worship band, Kutless have over the years included a number of congregational tracks. With such a wide range of material to choose from however, the selection here is very limited. Most tracks are taken from two albums, 'All Is Well' and 'Strong Tower', the latter of which obtained mixed reviews. The only other album represented is 'Sea Of Faces' contributing a single track. With no new material on offer and no material from the recent 'Believer' worship release, the CD seems to lack a vital element. Having said this, a number of the tracks do exhibit the quality this band possesses. "Draw Me Close" is a classy rock ballad that opens the album and reveals that thought has been placed into the ordering of the tracks. "It Is Well" with its modern rock treatment of the classic hymn has not been left out. The collection progresses through a total of 14 songs, highlighting the polished melodies and layered sounds of "God Of Wonders" and "Everything I Need". In truth, the package seems a little lazy.
