Calling Kingdom a 'Gospel Great' is a bit like calling Hartlepool United a 'Football Great'. But no matter, for despite Kingdom having (as far as I know) disbanded due to lack of success, they left behind some pretty hot tracks. Eight of which are assembled here. R&B jocks all over will be scrambling to get these cuts which were ahead of their time in '91 and still sound as funkily danceworthy as the day they were recorded. Great soulful vocals, enough rhythm to keep a dance floor happy and a welcome budget line reissue.
