The production is great, the musicians are first class and it's refreshing to hear live drums and bass which are recorded so well. The first track "Rich In Jesus Name" is powerful, it's got great groove and being a song that could have easily felt at home in Sister Act, it promises great things. But none of the other uptempo songs on the album match up to this great opener. Kim has a powerful and distinctive voice but doesn't always hit the target, with some discrepancies in intonation so the vocals seem to wander in some instances, lacking melodic direction. The album does have a great live feel to it and Kim shows her best in the track "I'm In This Place" and the final cut "Yes Lord", when she puts in all the 'feel' she can muster. Several displays of vocal gymnastics to stand in awe at!
