Warners were clearly trying for a major crossover album with this one with a maximum of positive message songs (substitute "love" for "God" and stay clear of the dreaded "J" word) but there's no denying that Kim offers exceptionally pleasant pop gospel music. I'm glad Kim has cut back on some of the black gospel mannerisms, the ex-beauty queen was never really convincing as a blue-eyed souler and settling instead for classy, pop sounds with plenty of deft production touches and at least one song, a sinuous mid tempo number called "Running All My Life" which gets better with every play.
