For those among us who have been ardent fans of the Maranatha Kids Praise Albums, with Psalty The Song Book & Co. this latest one is certainly a must. We have here a compila­tion of all the albums with arguably the best songs from each. Many favourites are here including "Sandy Land", "In His Time", and "Father, I Adore -You", each with their own lovely interpretation, all sung , of course, by the kids. I must admit to being delighted by the album and I enjoyed listening to it even without the company of my children. I found the omission of the dialogue, which is a feature of the original albums to be an added advantage, I could listen whilst I was doing other things rather than feel I had missed the link between the songs, and each song does have something to offer in its own right rather than just being part of a whole thing. I can see great potential for the use of this album within a Sunday School setting, there is a good mix of quiet adoration songs and lively action ones, each with their own truths simply written for the younger child to understand. What a lovely way to help our children learn about our Father!! "Special, Speciali­ties" being my favourite - we're all special in our own way. I am also sure that this tape will prove to be an asset to have in the car whilst making long journeys to and from holidays in the summer, as have the previous albums in this series, so a compilation must certainly be a winner!
