This 18 track collection highlights the talent and anointing that underpinned the late American CCM pioneer's short but prolific career. Well formed pop songs like "You Put This Love In My Heart" and "Soften Your Heart" sit well with hard hitting wake up calls to the Church such as "Asleep In The Light" and "Jesus Commands Us To Go!" Elsewhere, Green's sense of humour is brought to the fore in the likes of "So You Wanna Go Back To Egypt" from the 1980 album of the same name and he sounds for all the world like Loudon Wainwright III in a delightful solo live version of "He'll Take Care Of The Rest". The inclusion of two unreleased songs ("Your Love Came Over Me" and the aforementioned "He'll Take Care Of The Rest") make this a worthwhile purchase for the hardened Green fan but, unfortunately, the bonus songs, videos and photos hidden away on the interactive part of the disc cannot be accessed if you are resident in the UK for contractual reasons. Nonetheless, this is a worthy testament to a man who continues to influence and challenge countless Christian artists to rise above mediocrity in order to bring God's word in a way that makes people sit up and take note.
