Kathy continues her journey into music in a more inspirational vein and although there are occasional forays into her pop roots on "Love One Another" and "Call Out To Me", I do miss that side of her work. Having said that, she does manage to record songs that have the ability to penetrate the soul and bring encouragement. "Water Into Wine" looks at how God changes us supernaturally and the soulful ballad "How Would I Know" examines how suffering brings depth to our walk with God. Inspirational ballads are now her speciality and I'm glad because even in listening to this, the album's closing song "Help Me God" came like a refreshing breeze into my busy life. Kathy is brave enough to tackle the big issues like abortion. "A Baby's Prayer" offers hope and forgiveness for women who have had abortions. For a long time AIDS has been a difficult subject for Christian artists to confront. Kathy has gone full throttle recording a song to raise money for His Touch Ministries who work with those suffering from the disease. Gathering some of the biggest and brightest stars in the CCM firmament, Kathy recorded this positive piece of pop Band Aid-style during GMA week and listening, you can play a game of spot-your-fave-singers. An inspirational album with songs that will cut through barriers and touch the inside of you.

Great cd from KT! These are top ccm radio songs! wtg Kathy! Released in the latter part of April 1997. The cd starter song "I Call Him Love" is a great ccm crafted song, quality and lyrics the same. "Water Into Wine" is a song of pure beauty. KT joins in the list of writers for the nearly 6 minutes of the wonderful "Love One Another", that includes a long list of great ccm artists: Gary Chapman & Amy Grant (who were still together at this time),Sandi Patty,
Michael W. Smith, 4 Him, Aaron Jeoffrey, First Call & Newsboys ( to name some). Kathy adds a great song written by top notch songwriter of all time, Diane Warren, "Call Out To Me"; I luv the bgvs.
I just love Kathy's soulful vocals that grab gently at the heart (I would miss this on her next release).
I love the chorus for "All Glory To GOD"; great lyrics from KT! The prayerful, "Help Me GOD" closes this superb collection of songs;Bill Elliott's piano really befits KT's soft, pure vocal style for this song.
GOD Bless! -Don
