Katholicus is Adam Miller who wrote arranged, recorded, mixed, produced, played all instruments and sang most of the vocals. (A busy, talented man!) Adam has been lead guitarist with a number of American unsigned bands since the mid '70s and has clearly brought his experience here. This praise album has a mostly late '80s rock feel along with a few gentler moments - the Phil Keaggy influence he mentions in the notes is clear. However, Adam's vocals lack the 'charisma' of a lead vocalist and on occasions he does struggle, although his daughter does a fine supporting role on two songs. Overall then, a worthy demonstration of musical determination.
