This is an album that deserves a very close listen as it draws you away from your surroundings into a place of peace. Kate is one of several worship leaders based at New Heights Church in Vancouver, Canada. This, her first album, combines a wonderful mix of Celtic, bluegrass, Hungarian (she spent some time there) with a little pop thrown in for good measure! Kate's mellifluous voice blends extremely well with this heady combination reminding me of Alison Krauss on "Measure Of Your Holiness" and Andrea Corr on "Come Before Him". Speaking as one who really enjoys the sound of a well played violin, Kate's playing is top quality and she has the ability to draw you into the songs using the instrument, until they feel like a comfortable pair of slippers while the words speak to the soul. The title song also features Chad Leonard whose voice compliments Kate's beautifully. An outstanding album.
