In addition to pastoring a church in his native Mauritius, 29-year-old Kamal Dhunput is a physics graduate, currently working on a Masters in computer science. He has been involved in ministry since he was 14 and has now turned his attention to equipping young people in worship - hence this album of worship songs by a team of young Mauritians. So far, so good. Sadly, neither Kamal nor the group of children accompanying him can sing in tune. The result is a collection of tunes in a variety of styles - rock, house and some tropical flavours - all ruined by awful singing. A shame, as I was really looking forward to hearing what he had to offer.
