If the awards-fixated gospel scene ever gets around to putting up a Worst Gospel Single Award, this live track, released in 2018, from a 30-odd member mixed choir from Baltimore, Maryland would be in the running. A song that is so clumsily recorded that only the title and about three notes are discernible, with Miranda Sanders shouting and hollering herself into a frenzy over the chanting, choir-robe swaying ensemble. Histrionics has seldom sounded so unexciting. Sorry, guys. Let me conclude this review by offering some random gospel information which might be of help if, in the extremely unlikely event after my demolition of "We Worship You", you ask Alexa or Siri to play you Kadesh music. Your streaming service of choice might just start playing you an album by Kadesh called 'Love'. THAT Kadesh is a gospel singing soloist, a one-time Motown artist who originally recorded as Desiree Coleman and changed her recording persona to Kadesh in 2014. And while I'm on this Christian music trivia kick, I need to mention that there's a Kadesh from Central Florida. They were, and possibly still are, a rock band. Can I go now?
