Jordin is, of course, another of those singers who has hit the big time via the American Idol TV talent search. As it has turned out, Jordin, a former backup singer for Michael W Smith, was quite a talent for Sony/BMG to pick up as this is now a big US mainstream pop and R&B hit. This album sounds fantastic all the way through. The production/songwriting from The underdogs (Dreamgirls Soundtrack, Mary J Blige), Eman (Backstreet Boys, Celine Dion), Robbie Nevil (High School Msical soundtrack) and Sam Watters (Jessica Simpson) is immaculate, and no detail has been missed at all. This incredibly clean style immediately lifts it to the upper echelons of the genre in terms of its aesthetic quality, but it is in its lyrical content, and absorbing its meaning that really sets it apart. With every song on this album, at the top of its game, this is mainstream pop/R&B of real quality.
