This catchy three track single by London-based singer/songwriter Tearne is based around impressive acoustic guitar riffs, proficient drumming, honky tonk style piano and some sweet backing harmonies. The finished product does feel a bit unpolished though particularly in the quality of the mix. Each one of the tracks starts out in a promising manner with clever, ear-catching intros but then the piano kicks in and it all becomes a bit too busy. Also, though lyrically these songs are quite inventive the rhymes, at times feel unnecessarily forced.

Fantastic album, original lyrically, different to the usual
Xstian album. Jon Tearne is clearly a stand-out artist and
will be huge in the years ahead.
