The Colorado-based former frontman of According To John has released his difficult second album (a follow-up to 2007's superb 'The Blessing') on the back of critical and popular acclaim for the song "While I'm Waiting", which features on the 2008 soundtrack of the hugely popular film Fireproof. In fact, the song appears twice on the album, the second time as a "Bonus Track" with snatches of dialogue from the film. Waller has lost none of the passion which was so evident on his first album and the songs (all but one of which - the opening "Hands Of The Healer" by Eddie Kirkland - are written or co-written by the singer himself) have a deeply worshipful feel. "House Of God", with its rich backing choir, "Our God Reigns Here" and "Priestly Blessing" are particularly intense, whilst "Faith Is Living" is a great challenge to trust God in all circumstances. There's also a fine setting of Isaiah 26:3 entitled "Perfect Peace" which showcases the more sensitive side of Waller's undoubted vocal talents. This album more than fulfils the promise of his debut and the powerful vocals, wedded by producer Mark A Miller to driving guitars and some excellent rhythm and keyboard work, really do give these songs a sense of passionate urgency.

Product Description
While I’m Waiting, the song from singer/songwriter John Waller, is many people’s favourite song from the hit fi lm Fireproof.

“I’m sure most people can relate to this song,” says John, “but the important thing to remember while we’re waiting on God, is to not just wait, but to actively wait. Serve, worship and be faithful with what you have, where you are…even while you wait.”

Indeed, this overfl owing message of trust in the Lord is so important that it soon became the prevailing sentiment of Waller’s second album, also titled While I’m Waiting.

With songs like Faith Is Living, Cling to the Call and The Lord Reigns Here, this writer of declaration-style anthems for the body of Christ is once again giving listeners biblical words to claim as their own during trying and uncertain times.

“My calling is to go deeper into God’s Word and to let that truth set me free,” John relates. “When people sing the truth of God’s Word it changes their lives. I don’t know anything more powerful!”
