The orchestrated opening and progressive rock energy of 'I Believe In You', immediately entice you to listen for what gem is going to come next. Who would have believed that Joel Engle, orphaned at age11 and hailing from San Francisco, would turn out to be a worshipper with such passion and enthusiasm. This guy may not be as instantly recognisable as Chris Tomlin but he has massive potential to gain a wider audience with many tracks that will attract congregational use. This album builds on his first major release, with more God focused praise and a heart of worship that longs to be captured by God. "O Great God" and "For Your Glory" certainly beg to be used as great worship songs. Standout songs include "Invincible" with its edgy bass and punching drums and "I Am Forgiven", speaks of the forgiveness and the freedom that God wants us to live in. An album that gets better with every play.
