No self respecting country fan will want to miss out on this collector's gem containing 117 titles by Jim and friends (including Chet Atkins, the Louvin Brothers, Jean Shepard and others) from his radio shows. You'll be amazed how good the quality of performance and recording is! They match well against his RCA classics. It is interesting to hear his planned and unplanned commentary around the songs. The songs themselves seldom stray outside already chartered territory and here and there are also repeated. Surprisingly there's only one mediocre gospel song (repeated), "An Evening Prayer" yet described by Jim as an outstanding song. Nevertheless this is treasured keepsake!
