Continuing much in the same vein as his previous album, the Pennsylvania-based worship pastor inspired by the likes of Keith Green and Rich Mullins with elements of Hillsong and Leeland delivers a gospel pop-rock album for the modern Church. Declaring that our success and accomplishments are found in Jesus, "Victory" is upbeat and succeeds in bringing the congregation together to share in that celebration. One might take issue with the line "So then I repented of my sins and won the victory" since it could suggest that we believers and not Christ made the victory happen. The title song, gently led by piano and guitar, beautifully describes why God is so worthy of worship. "The Lord Is Good" containing an alluring piano riff is harmonically exciting with Gibson's skilled melodic writing shown in the bridge line, "I will bless the Lord at all times, and worship with all my life, forever bless the Lord." "In His Temple" is a humble prayer confessing the singer's doubt in times of trouble and his need to be brought close to his Saviour. At times the music and lyrics are too busy for you to appreciate the message of the song but in truth there are many better worship projects than this set available.
