'Beyond Reason' is a intimate portrait of the fruit of Jesus being in Jeannette's life. It is an evangelical portrayal of how Christianity has contemporary practical implications for (Canadian) life. The fact that it is missing the spark of stardom makes it all the more real to the normal person, bringing home the reality of the Gospel with lyrics like "You saw my pain and gave me the power to change." Her third release, it is entirely self penned and produced with Chris Janz, who plays many of the instruments but with no great originality of style or arrangement.
