It's hard to think that this housewife has only been singing and writing for a few short years. After the release of her previous album 'God Holds The Key', Janis received the invitation to sing and record in Nashville, under the watchful eye of Jerry Arhelger. It's with the more mature listener where this is going to be a hit, as her Anne Murray/Marilla Ness vocals quietly minister God's word. The title track asks for the gift of looking at God's wonder and love with the "Eyes Of A Child". "I'd Rather Know You" will have you singing along quite quickly, while "It Should Have Been Me" sounds like a hit from yesteryear. The music is A1 and the finished product just oozes quality. Mid-album, Janis throws in a couple of Jewish style songs and then it's on with the show. Probably, the one that will get most attention is "0 Mary" - atmospheric, wonderful song. Janis English proves that you don't have to be American to make a quality, country recording.
