Janey had her moments in the mainstream pop scene (BVs on big hits, the Cola Boy dance hit) but in recent years her radio career and motherhood put pursuit of the big record deal on hold. Now, with her doing the occasional church gig, Janey has dusted off these previously unreleased masters and demos and packaged them on a nice little CD. Whether you go for her moving cover of Julie Miller's "Broken Things", the breathy pop groove of "Tuesday's Child" or her duet with Martyn Joseph on "Be Thou My Vision", this is an engaging snapshot of a singer and songwriter while keyboard whiz Phil Curran is excellent throughout.
