I have a copy of this on original vinyl; her actual first album in 1986: I also have a pic sleeve 45 of "He's So Good To Me": a great hand clapper to sing along with. I had heard ccm radio play "His Name Is Life" a duet with top known ccm artist Carman: I just loved it from first hearing. This is what ccm is all about, great lyrics and vocals to hi - light a song at its best!
btw the song was written by Carman & Bill Gaither.
The album title song is the well known inspirational "I Give You JESUS" penned by ccm artist Becky Fender (her songs are wonderful soul refreshers). Janet's interpretation is Heaven sent.
Top notch ccm songwriter/singer Gorden Jensen provides a song full of truth, grace and beauty, "He's As Close as the Mention of His Name"; country artist Judi Rodman is heard on bgvs. Long time ccm artist Gary McSpadden co-wrote the beautiful worshipper "JESUS, LORD To Me". GOD Bless! -Don
btw Happy Birthday to Janet next month Oct. 18
