Those expecting a cover of one of Buddy Holly's most famous songs will be disappointed but this song of thanks to God from singer/songwriter Jammie Jolly from Philadelphia is a pleasing enough slice of '80s-tinged electro pop even if it suffers from a general lack of lyrical development. Jolly's no-frills vocals sit comfortably on top of a fairly upbeat synth backing provided by David Rosaria.
