Not the '60s pop star, not the acid jazz hero, THIS James Taylor plays keys with the Noel Richards band and wrote "I Believe" on Noel's last album. Here he turns in an excellent six-song EP which bristles with gutsy rock power with guitars that belch and howl around James' head to the sky vocals. Songs of praise without the pretty production but with all the thrusting honesty that makes British praise music such a significant movement. Recommended.
