Another worship collection featuring modern praise and worship favourites such as "Everyday", "Undignified" and "Blessed Be Your Name". Nothing particularly unusual about that - except that this disc is aimed at "today's 6-12 year-old looking for music that is relevant to today's culture." Thus, these dozen "smash worship hits" come in an upbeat sugary Top-40 style, performed by a batch of American studio musicians. The result is certainly impacting - hearing "Open The Eyes Of My Heart" done to a pumping dance beat definitely catches one's attention! The sounds were undoubtedly crafted thoughtfully - "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever" and Tomlin's "Forever" both carry an infectious soul-groove not found on the originals, while the one minute intro to Redman's "Blessed" is equally appealing. Some tracks could well prove popular with kids and adults alike. Many church-going kids will have heard many of these songs in church already - hearing them in a more youth-oriented style could quickly catch on.
