Considering Indafusion produced this as a "filling the gap between albums" EP it's a brilliant release, most notably down their lyrical and theological change of stance. Until this release the Dunfermline-based band had been ambiguous at best about their beliefs but in a flurry of new found faith the band produced an EP which tackles evolution wonderfully in the annoyingly enjoyable "Elephant: Emperor Of The Animals". I say annoyingly because when I inflicted my listeners to this song the majority hated it; a selected few, however, thought it was nigh on genius. Other standout track "Come Home Katy 5" demonstrates what's best about their irreverent brand of psychedelic-rock-meets-distorted-punk. It really is a bizarre and wonderfully captivating mix of musical styles, leaving a kind of marmite effect for most people - I personally err more on the side of deep appreciation. Anyone who experiments this much with musical styles and doesn't leave your ears bleeding deserves a listen in my book; lyrically it's a pretty adventurous collection too.
