Here's a single from a Northern Irish singer and his band, a ballad that builds and rocks quite heartily before it's finished. A story of hope although the lyrics are a little too esoteric for the average man in the street (me) to grasp without the help of the sleevenotes provided. Eric Bell plays the lead guitar break. Do you remember the sweet, wonderful and enticing lead guitar in Thin Lizzy's superb early hit single "Whiskey In The Jar"? Well, it was Eric who played it, I remember as a yoof being amazed by its glory. It's not fully recreated here but there are still snatches of guitar panache.
